Burtoni is Ben Burton, a Denver flameworker who grew up in Southern California and started his career in Hawaii in 1999. His work is pure tropics: flamingos, pelicans, clownfish, octopi and reef scenes, built with custom color mixes, UV-reactive glass, crushed opal, dichro, milli implosions and fumed work. Leaf Magazine points to how much of his catalog is collaborative.
The Burtoni collection at Smoke ATX covers flower and dabs. Flower smokers get a Flamingo sherlock and a sculpted 14mm bowl/slide. On the concentrate side there are numbered Flamingo and Tentacle Puffco dry tops, plus collabs with Austin's SALT (a Praying Mantis rig and a Spanish Olive pivot top) and a Sea Life Shrine rig with Joe P.
Shop Burtoni online, or see the flamingos in person at Smoke ATX on South Lamar, Slaughter Lane or Burnet Road in Austin.
