Unparalleled Glass is the studio name of Chaiah Sullivan, the cactus guy. Raised in Paonia on Colorado's Western Slope, he started flameworking at 14 in 2005 and picked up his hollow sculpting technique in classes with SALT and Robert Mickelsen. Every cactus gets its ridges, then dots along each ridge, then spikes plucked out one by one, and it still has to function. The results have taken 1st at the Dr. Dabber Glass Masters (2023), the Puffco Glass Open (2022) and Champs' Emerging Artist category (2017).
The Smoke ATX collection covers flower and dabs. Flower smokers get cactus sherlocks, spoons and a chillum. Chaiactita and Root Perc cactus bubblers, including a Root Perc Terrarium with UV accents, carry the heavier sculptural work. The dab headliner is the UV Saltactus rig, a collab with Austin's SALT, alongside a cactus iso/Q-tip jar. There's also cactus barware: whiskey glasses, shot glasses, beer mugs and a 750ml decanter.
