This unique marble is fully faceted with a carved backing to create a fun fractal effect when looking through it. The color is a beautiful lilac purple and changes to a light blue in different lighting. There is a total of a 178 facets and the cuts in back as well.
Fatal Facets creates mesmerizing, hand-cut glass pendants through a meticulous and time-intensive process, with some smaller pieces taking 10+ hours to complete. Each pendant begins with layers of dichroic glass, carefully bonded together using HXTAL glue to achieve depth and brilliance. The piece is then flat faceted to refine its initial shape before moving on to the most demanding step: fantasy cuts.
Fantasy cutting requires double the time of standard faceting due to the extreme precision needed. While most artists in this field rely on $9,000 machines for accuracy, Fatal Facets executes every measurement and cut entirely by hand using proprietary tools. This hands-on approach ensures each pendant is a unique, high-quality masterpiece that refracts light beautifully in ways machine-cut pieces simply cannot replicate.
