Vaporization

The transformation of a substance into a gas from a solid or liquid state. Vaporization, which preserves more terpenes than combustion while heating oil between 356-392°F (180-200°C), is generally regarded as healthier than smoking. In vape pens, which use a heating element to vaporize oil for the user, vaporization is a common method. The flash vaporization of concentrates known as dabbing typically takes place at temperatures between 350 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
